SLE 12 SP2 under zPDT fails with "No repository found."

I am new to Linux on z. Started the installation and tried both FTP and Hard Disk methods. Both returns the message above. the mount point is "iso" created in the directory I started the installation from. Any idea what should be the name of the files the installer is looking for and and why do I get this msg?

    Hi ITschak,

I'm sorry I'm not familiar SLES on System Z. Perhaps someone else will
    have some better advice.

    Have you checked the documentation?
Installation on IBM z Systems \ Preparing for Installation
    https://www.suse.com/documentation/sles-12/book_sle_deployment/data/sec_zseries_prep.html

    The documentation states
NOTE: No Installation From Hard Disk

It is not possible to install from hard disk by putting the content of
the DVD to a partition on a DASD.[\QUOTE]

The above link provides several other options.

The SUSE documentation provides this link to the IBM website for
